The fill valve only receives 40 volts. The. Unit received 120 volts, with continuity in both fill valve + over fill switch. The control looks to be in good shape, but I cannot access door panel. Any suggestions as to where the resistance is + how to access wires within it. Thanks. RC

Answer RC, The fill valve should have a resistance value of between 890 and 1090. You will want to check this from the control board from connector P2 pin 3 to Connector P10. This will also trace the circuit to make sure that there are no broke wires. To access the control board you will remove the screws around the perimeter of the inner door. Also check to make sure that the board is sending power through the same pins to the water valve. If not then the control is bad and if so then there is a wiring issue.

My maytag dishwasher works fine except that iof I open the door during a wash cycle it still keeps running! Does part AP4113223 fix this and is it hard to replace?

My model #DWU8260AAX will fill with water but will not run, also the heater will work but the motor and pump don't engage. Does this sound like something that part AP4113223 will repair?

My dishwasher works fine except it keeps stopping midcycle. The dishwasher restarts when I push on the door, but then it stops again,so I have to keep pushing on the door several times during the cycle to get it to finish. I had a repairman in to look at the dishwasher, and he said it's a relatively easy repair, and that I need a latch and catch assembly. He showed me the wires that attach into each side of the latch assembly and said that my husband, who is handy, could replace it as long as he replaced each wire carefully into the new assembly(after turning of the electricity, of course). The 'latch assembly' that he was talking about is part of the door, and the 'catch' is the little plastic piece on the main part of the dishwasher that clicks into the latch when you close the door. Can you tell me what parts to buy to complete this job?

I cannot get my washer door to latch a lot of times. When it Does latch, it works just fine, nothing appears to be broken on the door latch, or on the latch that sticks out from the washer. Should a new door latch fix the issue? Thank you.
