I know there is water in that area, but should there be water in the yellow area where the electric motor is at. I can tilt the pump back and forth and it looks like a bubble in a level. I think that the water should not be in this area. Thanks.

Washer won't completely spin the water out. The drain spout is about 4 ft high. Seems to drain when I lower the drain hose into a trash can.

I have a Maytag washer 3000 series and it works great and everything but it won't drain water. Do you think it is the drain pump?

I have 3 parts I need to order, one of which is just the drain pump cap. Can I order just part #14 in the diagram without buying the pump and assembly?

Washer displays "F" then "H", (very little water). I have taken off the hoses, checked for any blockage, none. Reconnected and started load, it finished with no faults. The next day, washed another load, and the faults are back. Stopped and started in the a different cycle, started to work and then did the faults (F & H) Repair person said I would need to replace the "circuit board". I would like to know if there is a part I can replace myself or at least understand why this is happening to avoid having unnecessary repair done. Thank you in advance for your time.
