My MayTage Performa Model: PSD262LHEB has had a problem with the defroster board in the past. Well it started again after about 3 years the evaporator in the freezer compartment was frosting over again. So I moved the fridge away from the wall and unplugged it Then I went in and changed the defroster board inside the fresh food side. It's doing something now and I don't know whats causing it. The copper pipe that comes from the compressor to the evaporator is frosting up. But whats odd is that it's not frosted over by the compressor, it starts where the pipe comes inside the freezer where it can be seen. The frost continues along that pipe to the evaporator. The part that's odd is that it stops before the first turn of the evaporator. It goes up to where the evaporator starts it's 90 degree turn and the frost stops. The rest of the evaporator is not cold. I tried moving the temperature sensor but had no effect. The freezer gets to around 65 degrees. Any thoughts? Thanks Bob S.

My freezer defrost doesn't work all the time. Every couple of weeks, I have to manually defrost the ice build-up in the freezer side. Otherwise, it works fine for awhile. Can you tell me what part and part number I need to fix this problem .
