What is the best type of drip pan? My old range had aluminum/(chrome?) pans and I may have I replace them once in the 20 some years. They were easy to clean, occasionally I pulled out steel wool to clean them if the dirt was bad. I bought my range in like new condition. The pans were burnt and replaced with hardware store chrome pans. If something drips while cooking and you cannot clean it while the coil is still red hot, it will burn and is terribly difficult to clean. Now I need to replace the pans again after 3 years. I vigilantly clean my stove and it is in great condition. I clean it any time it gets dirty. Am I doing some thing wrong or is the quality terrible?
