Answer Hello Ron. These are not easy, but not to hard to do. Do not remove the pulley. You can loosen the tub springs (do NOT remove them) and use a board under the pulley to raise it enough to replace the pads. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Deloris, You need to remove the agitator and check the spanner nut that secures the spin basket to the transmission shaft. You may need to replace the drive block 389140 to get the unit to operate properly.

Answer Hello Larry. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the tub bearing 6-2040130 and the mounting stem kit 6-2095720 will need to be replaced on the unit.

Answer Thomas, Yes, as long as you're there, and doing a repair, I would replace the belts 12112425, If you do this right you'll get quite a few more years of uninterupted service. Belt replacement is a basic and simple replacement, raise the front of the washer a few inches and block it up, Carefully roll the pump belt across the front of the washer off the pulleys then the drive belt at an angle from left front corner to the crnter. and reverse the procedure to install the belts and adjust if necessary. Answer Hello Thomas. If the noise is a roaring sounds during spin cycle, you will need to replace the bearing kit 6-2040130 and the seal kit 6-2095720. This is usually what is bad when the belt is burning during spin cycle.

Answer Hello Kevin. Check and make sure there is nothing stuck under the agitator and it is binding the agitator. If not and everything else is working properly, then the transmission 6-2097750 may be bad in the unit and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
