Description

Fits many Amana, Speed Queen, Crosley, Admiral, Magic Chef and Maytag. Most dryers use two rollers in the rear. It is suggested that both are replaced at the same time. Suggested: Other normal wear and tear items to look at are the belt, front and rear felt seals, idler tension pulley and front tumbler bearings. Also check that all lint is cleared from inside your dryer and the vent.

Made by Whirlpool. Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others.
Whirlpool also makes various appliance models for Sears / Kenmore.

I have a SDE515DAYW Maytag dryer. When you first start drying cycle it would squeal for a couple minutes, it kept getting worse and I sprayed some white lubricant on roller shaft. It quit for a couple of drying cycles. Now it has started again when first start cycle. Do I need to replace rollers, are do I need more than the rollers.

I replaced the thermal fuse and that went fine, but now that its all back together it makes a loud screeching sound when it turns. But not when I turn it by hand. Is this a belt or roller problem?

I have maytag electric dryer, when I turn it on its squeals for couple of minutes then the squealing stops. I took the dryer apart and oiled the bearrings. This stopped the squealing for about a month, now its starting again. Someone told me they think the problem is the drum support rollers and that they need to be replaced. What do you think?
