Answer Debbie, As long as there are no major wear marks or scratches, on the axles 6-3129480, you can usually clean the axle and "buff" them with emory cloth. Then lube the shafts and roller bearing (center opening) 12001541 with a couple of drops of turbine oil TJ93240. You'll also want to repeat the procedure on the idler pulley assembly 6-3037050.

Answer Hello Nick, Between the main top and the cabinet in hte front there would be 2 clips that have to be released to lift top. If it has the lint filter on top then remove lint filter and 2 screws, pull forward on top and lift.

Answer Ben, either of those parts could be causing your noise. Since you're already going to be there, it makes since to replace the rollers 12001541 and the Tumbler Bearing Kit 306508. It's recommended that you replace both bearing kits and both rollers at the same time. You should be able to find a rivot tool at a reasonable price. Hope this helps!

Answer Hello Wayne, This probably has nothing to do with the unit being gas. Most of the time, the drum rollers 12001541, idler wheel 6-3037050, and glides 306508 make the noise. This is a pre-cursor to failure. The belt Y312959 should be inspected to determine if the other failing parts have caused the belt to need replacement.
