dryer beeps constantly I put new sensor in still beeps , dryer functions but constant chirping
Answer Allan, The more likely issue is the keypad / console assembly 22004444 or 33002536 . Once you roll the console over and find the tech data sheet and wiring diagram, you could test the keypad tracers, and or perform "jumps" on the control board pins and test both the control board and the keypad.
I have a whirlpool cabrio dryer, about a week ago the start/pause button stopped working, all the settings and displays are fine but it won't start
Answer Darla, First check and make sure the door catch is working and you can hear the door switch "click" when you press it and release it several times. If the door switch checks OK, replce the control panel/keypad assembly, you most likely have a faulty circuit in the start pause button.
my dryer got really hot and quit running. We removed thermal fuse and dryer worked fine for nearly a week. Finally found a place to get new thermal fuse. put it on but then the dryer stopped heating. I called a repairman and he says he thinks its the control panel. wants a ton of money to fix it and im not sure what to do as he wont give me a guarantee. Im trying to figure out why it worked until we replaced thermal fuse?
Answer Kathy, Did you solve the excessive heat situation ? My guess is oyu replaced the "motor" thermal fuse 3392519 on the blower housing. in the process of running the dryer, or if you haven't checked and cleaned the exhaust vent, lint filter and housing. the "heater" thermal fuse 279816 may have opened and shut the power off to the heater, so now theres no heat. Check or replace the hi limit switch/thermal cut out kit before you replace the control board. Good Luck and Thanks
