Answer Dan, This dryer, being an electric dryer, does have a thermal fuse 3392519 located on the blower housing. If the fuse opens due to excessive heat, etc. the motor will not start or run. There is also a thermal fuse mounted on the heater assembly, but it only affects the heater.Start by checking the thermal fuse for a "closed" circuit with a multi meter.

Answer Hello Jose, If the dryer starts when you hit the start switch then turns off when you release the switch then it would be a bad centrifugal switch on the motor and motor would need to be replaced. If it does nothing then you would want to do a continuity test on the thermal fuse to make sure that it is good. If no continuity then replace the thermal fuse.
