Hi- Do I have a front roller kit on my dryer? I only see a rear roller kit and that's what I was going to order. My dryer is screeching and squealing when running. It isn't the motor either. I already tore it apart and checked. I greased the rear drum rollers but now after a few cycles it is making the same noise again.

I can hear a rubbing/grinding noise when there is a wet load in the drier. There is also a fresh band of wear forming on the front portion of the drum. The front guides look ok. I recently replaced the front right guide. According to the parts diagram found at AppliacePartsPros there is supposed to be a front roller located at the left side of the unit. I've never seen the front roller on this machine nor is one listed in the parts list. Could this missing roller be the cause of the rubbing and heavy wear? I tend to think not as we've had the drier for years without the roller, we got it used, and this wear issue has only recently come to light. Any help would be appreciated.

The Dryer is noisy ,There is a repeated " click "sound that can be heard loudly on each turn of the Drum. After opening the Dryer, I inspected the belt ,the rollers and the Idler pully; All seems to be OK. Can you help diagnose the fault please. Thanks and Best Regards.

I replaced the drive belt on my dryer. Afterwards, my dryer drum keeps falling off the rear drum rollers every few weeeks. I've removed the drum, checked the two rollers and spacer washers. Clearance and condition seem excellent. The felt gasket, front and rear is worn, so I believe that the worn gaskets are allowing front-to-rear movement of the drum, which subsequently jumps off the rollers. I'm going to replace the felt gaskets. Am I fixing the wrong item? Is there something else that will contribute to this? I've had a lot of white shirts get caught in the rear gap of the drum and vent, which burns marks on the shirts (!) Aghhh!!.... Thanks.

I've installed this roller kit as the instructions with proper spacer and washer in the right roller support shaft and just a washer on the left roller support shaft. The left one has about 7mm of front to back play where the right one has only 3mm of front to back play. Is the left one correct with that much slop?
