The Dryer is noisy ,There is a repeated " click "sound that can be heard loudly on each turn of the Drum.
After opening the Dryer, I inspected the belt ,the rollers and the Idler pully; All seems to be OK.
Can you help diagnose the fault please.
Thanks and Best Regards.
Answer Bisho, You'll want to check the tumbler 53-1250 and the front drum glides 31001469, 31001470. If the seam, when the drum is produced is starting to separate or is worn badly, there will be a noise, and there could also be damage to the front tumbler guides. You also want to loosen and check the baffles 53-1249 and drum seals, there is apossibility that an object or coin has slipped under and into the baffle or drum seal and the object moves as the tumbler rotates or the tumbler rubs or hits the article if it is stuck in the felt seals.
To replace tumbler rollers in this model .... please help !
To replace the roller assembly you will first remove power from unit. To access the rollers you will use a putty knife to depress the spring clips that are located in between the main top and front panel. Once they have been depressed you will lift the maintop. With main top listed you will take out the 5/16" screws on either side of the front panel that holds it to the cabinet. With the cabinet front taken off you will then release the belt from the idler pulley and motor pulley. Lift the tumbler out and you have access to the rollers to replace.
