Dryer does not have any power. Previously, when the timer was turned to add time, you could hear the clock clicking and counting down even prior to engaging the start button. I do not believe there is a fuse and wondering if there is a replacement part or a test to determine perhaps which part is faulty. The outlet has power. I even double checked by plugging into a different outlet. thanks.

Dryer runs fine on high heat. On low heat cycles, there is only cool air (motor runs and drum turns). What part needs to be checked and/or replaced?

My whirlpool gas dryer will not start. It makes a noise when I push the start button like it is getting power but nothing happens. I have checked my starter switch, thermal fuse, door switch, and two other electrical things that were in the back, one right by the thermal switch, the other up higher in the back. Everything comes back at 0.2 or 0.3 on the ohmmeter so I am assuming that is close enough to open. When I am checking I am not putting the probes inside the holes on the prongs I am just putting them on the flat surface of the prongs. Is that right? and it doesn't seem to matter which prong the black probe is on and which one the red probe is on, is that right as well? How do I check the timer? or any other ideas? Thank you.
