Got an error code 'PF' on display and after that no heat
Answer Hello Steve! The “PF” flashes to indicate that a power failure occurred while the dryer was running. Press Start to continue the cycle, or press Pause/Cancel to clear the display. You will need to check voltage under a load and for loose connections at the terminal block on the back. Otherwisebad it can be a bad control board W10111606. Hope this helps!

My 1985 Maytag DE 312 electric dryer suddenly stopped heating. The motor is running and the drum is turning but no heat. What do you think may be wrong?
Answer Hello Timmy. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
