Got an error code 'PF' on display and after that no heat
Answer Hello Steve! The “PF” flashes to indicate that a power failure occurred while the dryer was running. Press Start to continue the cycle, or press Pause/Cancel to clear the display. You will need to check voltage under a load and for loose connections at the terminal block on the back. Otherwisebad it can be a bad control board W10111606. Hope this helps!

My dryer stopped blowing Hot Air, I replaced My Element about 4-5 years ago. I was told they last around 7-10 years. I also checked the thermostats that are connected to the Element base and they both are good. I was told to check my House breaker and checked out OK. My next bet is that either The Thermal Fuse or Thermistor? How do I go about and check these? I just Hope it is not the Electric Board.. Please Help b4 I kick this dryer to the curb.
You would want to check the thermal fuse on the heater housing by checking for continuity. If there is no continuity then the thermal fuse is faulty and would need to be replaced. There are 2 components other than the thermostats which would cause the heating element not to work. First is the motor and second the control board. The best option is to disconnect the power to the unit and access the heating element. Disconnect one wire that is going to the heating element, preferably the one on the thermostat side. Plug the unit back up and using a multimeter you will want to turn the dryer on and test for 120 vac at the terminal on the heater where the wire was disconnected. What this will do is eliminate the heater element itself and the motor. If there is 120 vac at this point then you know the heater is good and the motor is good because the other 120 vac coming through the thermostats is the timer side of the circuit. If there is not 120 vac at that point then you will want to test the other terminal on the heater and check for 120 vac. If there is not 120 vac then the motor would be bad and if there is 120 vac then the heater would be the issue.
