The dryer timer stopped working, the drier would start and dry but the timer will not advance, does not matter if it's on timed dry or intelli dry. So I replaced the timer with part# 33002803 but it didn't help. Do I need to replace the dryness display assembly?
Answer Josh, Yes, you would want to replace the dryness display board. The board controls the neutral portion of the circuit. If the neutral leg is "open" the timer motor will not advance. Also check the wires and pins in the display board wire harness. the pins have to make good contact on the foil tracers on the display board. You also want to make sure you order your parts based on the series number (the first two digits of the serial number).
