I've got a Maytag Atlantis dryer with a bad timer. The model is MDE8400AYQ and the serial number is 19048083CL. There are three different options for the timer. I've been given two different part numbers of the three available: AP4042962 and AP4042974. One lady said she blew out a circuit board because she was given the wrong part number and the wiring harness should have been changed with the new timer. I would like to know the correct part number before ordering and also if the harness has to be changed on the model that I have. If it is of any help, here are the numbers on the factory timer: 3111B MAYTAG 6 3720670 M285, KINGSTON 70959-A02367. Thanks, Lyle

When using the IntelliDry cycle, even when set on "More Dry", thicker clothes and flannel sheets are coming out slightly damp. Which part do I need?

serial #1946656706, I had ordered a new timer for this dryer (not from you-unfortunately) the part # I was told that went to it was 33002855. After installing this it blew out the board for the intellidry sensor. I later found out that my Model # series 19 had an issue with having a 16 series harness which is why the other timer blew the board out. Now after putting the timer in, it no longer advances to shut off. I put the original timer back in. I believe from research the timer I need is 33002808, I just needed to know if thats correct and I needed to find out what the dryness board part # is as well so I can order that. I have a feeling the sensor messed up too, can you tell me what the symptoms would be if that were the case. I am so sorry for all the questions. I just replaced the timer bc it didn't always start and everything has gone terribly wrong from there. I can't even tell you how grateful I will be for your help.
