My kitchen aid (KSCS25FTMS02) has a dual water inlet valve(Invensys N-86) that might need replacement. When water line is on, water drips out of top of left green solenoid(?). The line and connections are intact but steady water flows out of valve solenoid(?). Best solution is to replace entire inlet valve? Or an easy troubleshoot?

My ice maker does not make ice. I replaced the ice maker unit in the freezer as well as the fill valve. I also replaced the bi-metal defrost thermostat. The fill line is freezing just after the 90 where it enters the tray reservoir.

Latest Questions

Pretty sure, that my water line is frozen. I have had the fridge unplugged in open now for about 8 hrs. How long should it take, nothing going to ice maker, or in door water.

I have a Whirlpool side-by-side with water and ice in the door, which both work properly. The issue I'm having is I keep getting a build up of ice in the back of the ice tray and it grows so thick that I have to break up the ice to remove the ice tray. The icemaker still produces ice. After reading the different Q and A's I'm thinking that possibly it needs the dual solenoid replaced? Thank you, Tim.
