I have a Maytag Neptune electric dryer model MDE5500AYW. It will not dry clothes, although everything seems to be working. A repairman has told me that the control board needs to be replaced. Is this control board (933003028), the one I need for my dryer?

I have a Maytag MDE5500AYW model dryer and on the control panel the lights will turn on, but nothing works when you push any of the buttons and can't get the dryer to start. Will I need to fix the control panel assembly or is it something to do with the control board? Thanks

I have a Maytag Neptune electric dryer model # MDE5500AYW that when the LED control panel is set to sensor dry and the drying temperature is set to regular or just below with the amount of dryness set anywhere between normal and very dry, the control board beeps continually until the dryer is started or shut off. Timed drying seems to work fine but both the sensor mode and time dry modes seem to dry clothes very hot also whether the dryer is set on air fluff or any other setting. Would this be the LED control panel or the control board and what part number would it be. Thank You in advance, this has been a long time issue that I am finally addressing.
