We need to know what part may be bad in our washer. The water is consistently pouring even when the washer isn't in use. It also will start all by itself and go thru cycles with or without clothes in it. It has a mind of its own. But as of right now we can't even wash clothes because we had to turn off the water supply. Thank you
Answer Kristal, The consistently pouring water would be due to a failed fill valve solenoid or diaphragm W10356257 that has stuck open. The " It also will start all by itself and go thru cycles with or without clothes in it. It has a mind of its own." would be due to a faulty circuit in the control board W10393489 or possibly loose connection in the wire harness to the control.
Washer will not go from sensing to wash and fill with water.
Answer Hello Donovan,
This unit should be put into the diagnostic mode. This is explained on the tech sheet normally located in a re-sealable plastic bag on the inside of the main front panel. It will tell you whether to look a the lid lock assembly or the motor drive circuit, (shift actuator).
