My washer worked fine yesterday, however my daughter pushed the pause/cancel button mid wash cycle and tried to open the door. We then resumed the cycle by pressing the start button again, this morning tried washing a new load and got a F-01 error code...can you explain how or why this would happen and possible solutions?
Answer Harmony, It may just be a coincidence " F 01- EEPROM ERROR - A communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU occurred. Possible Causes/Procedure ¦ A power glitch may cause this error. – Unplug washer or disconnect power for two minutes.- The pump driver fails to activate. Possible Causes/Procedure ¦ Replace CCU board. One of the main relays is not working properly." W10205839. Had the door lock been damaged if you forced the door open, you should have gotten an F 22 error code.
Unit turns on everything appears to be working. When start is pushed error code of F-01 appears. What does that code mean? Also, add a garmet light is on is that normal? I add clothes and shut the door but the light is still on.
Answer Hello Mike. The F01 code is for, A communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU)
and the EEPROM onboard the CCU occurred. The pump driver fails to activate. One of the main relays is not working properly. You will need to Unplug washer or disconnect power for two minutes. If that does not work and clear the code, Replace CCU board W10205839. Hope this helps.
