Runs fine. However it stops when is sees fit. Will work for a load then next load (54 min cycle) will run a short while (28-31 min) then shuts down mid load. Never have gotten a malfunction code. I'm open for suggestions. Thanks
Answer Hello Ed,
On model number WFW8300SW04, when the unit stops with no fault code, you need to put the unit into the diagnostic mode and pull the codes that are not displayed to the customer. If none are present, you need to open the unit and unplug each connector and reconnect them as you go, one at a time. Also note where in the cycle the unit is shutting down. This can be a very good indication as to where in the electrical circuits the unit is experiencing difficulties. The tech sheet will explain how to run the diagnostic mode. It should be located in a plastic bag behind the kick panel.
I have no power to washer. Cord and outlet are ok, is there a fuse?
There is not a fuse in the unit but you will want to check the power through the noise filter that the power cord goes to. Check for 120 vac at the filter where it goes into the filter and where the wires to the control board come out. If there is power in but not out then the filter is bad and would need to be replaced. The part number for the filter is W10367632.
