Oven sometimes stops heating and displays PF with difficulty re-igniting. Any ideas? Thank you.
Answer Hello Tim. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board 8190201 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
Does the clock assembly need replaced since the clock still works? Also, my oven doesn't always light on the first try. Sometimes it lights the first time, and at other times, it may take 10-15 times before it lights. During bake cycle, it also clicks several times trying to light to maintain the temperature, like when lighting oven for the first time, it sometimes does not relight. Could it be the igniter or possibly the gas valve?
Answer Debbie, The clock is not necessary for your ignition problem. You're on the right track though, it could b the gas valve W10293048 or poor gas supply to the range. but it's most likely the spark module W10331686 going weak. You also need to check and make sure there are no loose connections in the wires to the gas valve from the spark module, and the burner is clean in the spark ignition area. Good Luck,
My stove works okay but the temperature does not light up on the control panel.
The clock does light up.
Answer Hello Debbie. It sounds like the display is bad in the unit. You will need to replace the clock assembly to repair this. Hope this helps.
