I have to run the dryer twice to dry a load. I have thought either the element or the thermostat might be going. Is there a way to test them each and determine which I should replace? Thanks!

My dryer is not heating up. I put in a new thermal cut off kit and it still wont heat up. Do you think the heating element has gone out? The plug is getting 240 volts and the vent is not clogged.

We have to cycle the dryer on the highest setting, 2 & 3 times to get our cloths dry. Do elements get weak? Would a new element solve the problem?
