Had a flame-up, tripped circuit breaker, my
electrician disconnected that side, the fan and other side heating element are OK. So I need to replace burned out side with your element G part #AP 578 1615.
Question...How does one remove the damaged element?...are there instructions with your replacement part?
To replace the burner you would need to lift the cooktop from installation. You will have to remove the vent grill and remove the screws holding the down draft to make it easier, then lift out from the cabinet and remove the screws around the perimeter to get the glass top off. Once off you will have access to the burners to replace.
Will part # 7406P229-69 or 71003237 work on an older Jenn Air 2365 EGS?
What is the wattage of 71003237?
Answer Hello Chuck! Unfortunately, the suggested elements for your model has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available. Our company is unaware of any other available sources and can not suggest that either of the two inquired parts will work on your model. 71003237 is a 240v grille element, unfortunately, we do not have the wattage. Sorry about that!
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
Hi, I want to know what the length, width, and total size of this item.
Answer Hello Kyle, the element is approximately 8 inches wide by 17 inches long. If you will provide a complete model number, I can determine if this part is right for your unit. Thanks!
