Hello, I have a Maytag dishwasher MDB5100AWB that has stopped drying the dishes. It also leaves a bit of soap on the dishes so I don't think the "heating delay" during the wash cycle is working either. The dishwasher seems to work otherwise. I'm pretty sure there is an issue with the element or the current to it. I opened the dishwasher at various intervals during the dry cycle and it was not hot to the touch. I have taken the element out and tested for continuity and it checks out around 2 Ohms. My understanding is that it should be OK. I wanted to hook my multimeter to the leads that go to the element, but I'm not sure what to set it for. Is it 120 VAC? Also, what would be the next item likely causing the problem? Thanks
