Answer Hello Jackie, This will probably be the element kit 12002145. The infinite switch can also cause the failure. Since the infinate switch part number is determined by the series number, if you could repost with the serial number, we can provide you this part number also.

Answer Jack, Your left front burner is a "standard" single ribbon radianrt element, and as long as you installed the wires on the new switch as they were on the original, you should've been fine. Here's the information on removing the cooktop and control panel : " Maintop Assembly 1. Remove power from unit.2. Remove range from installation position. 3. Remove air grill, filter, grill grates, aeration pan and cartridges (select models). 4. Remove screws from plenum area at front of opening. 5. Open oven door and remove screws securing maintop to oven chassis, located on the bottom of control panel and along the outside edges of the maintop. 6. Remove cartridge receptacles and grill pans (select models). 7. Label and disconnect wiring to elements 8. Remove screws securing element mounting brackets to main top assembly (select models). 9. Gently remove elements from mounting brackets to prevent damage to glass top (select models). 10.Reverse procedure to reinstall maintop assembly. Control Panel 1. Remove power from unit. 2. Open oven door and remove screws securing control panel. 3. Remove screws located on the right and left sides of the control panel. 4. Grasp control panel on the far left and right sides and gently pull the control panel out and down. NOTE: Gently pull control panel out and down. 5. Remove infinite switch control knobs, infinite switches, indicator lights, rocker switches, and electronic control/clock (as necessary) and transfer to the new control panel. 6. Reverse procedure to reinstall control panel." You'll do fine, Thanks and Good Luck

Answer Hello JW! The left front element is part number 12002146. You will need to first verify if the burner switch 703650 is sending the correct voltage to the element before replacing the element. If the switch is sending voltage, replace the element. If the switch is not sending voltage, replace the switch. Thanks!
