When I turn on bake of top oven the temperature rises very slowly and the bottom element seems cool. The boil function does work. Which part do you think I need to replace. I don't see any error function on control panel.

My oven wont heat. The broiler does turn on and heat. The digital control panel also seems to work fine. What do you think is the issue and what part would I need to replace?

I need to replace the bake element on a Magic Chef 24" builtin double oven model 962W-3CWW serial number 3x682021. The original element is 17" wide, 17"deep measured from the mounting bracket, 13/4" from bracket to terminals, and 11/2" between terminals. The terminal conections are for screws. The cross over calls for a replacemnet part Y04000066 but the dimentions are different. What do you suggest?

What heating element should I buy to replace the broken one on my 24 inch Magic Chef double wall oven? I can't find a compatible model number. Thank you, Lynn

Lower oven element after turning it on and waiting for it to preheat, made a pop noise, when I looked inside it had caught on fire. I know how to replace the element but my concern is...is this normal for an element and/or could it have been cause by an electrical problem? I have had elements just burn out over time but never had one pop and catch on fire.

MY upper oven will not bake or broil. The elements look good. The temp sensor reads 1096 ohms. The elements read continuity. The lower oven works good. I am reading 120VAC at the yellow wire to the element. I have 240 volts at the red and black wires at the terminal board.I can hear and feel the center relay cycling every 30 secs and I get 120 VAC at the yellow wire on the element for about 30 seconds. The elements never warm. Any ideas.
