Where can I find my model number?

Whirlpool range, model RF368LXKT0. When cooking normally, the front left burner will suddenly heat up to high, all by itself. I have to shut it off and start all over again. Is that a switch or element problem? Also cannot seem to identify either of those items on your diagram. Its the front left large burner as your standing in front of the stove.

Right front burner (P/N 8273993) heats up but not completely. Water takes a very long time to boil, for instance. When the switch is turned ON to HI position, burner gets hot, but not red hot. Is this a defective burner or, perhaps, a defective switch? How can I tell which is which? (By the way, the insulating material which forms the outside shell of the heating element is cracked and broken. The metal grill appears intact.)

Answer Hello Tom, The most likely cause of the unit not heating properly is going to be in the infinite switch 3148953. The shell of the heating element being cracked would have no bearing on the heating.

Surface element, 8273993, does not match the one I took out of the stove. The plug is not the same.
