I am replacing part #AP4071296 and the problem I have is getting the yoke which is 2 inches wide to go through the 1/2 inch hole. Does the yoke have to be unscrewed from the motor?

Latest Questions

The ice enclosure should have a hole in the vertical side to allow the auger to be mounted in the rear and the engagement yoke to project thru where it will drive the ice impeller which moves the cubes forward. Am I correct? My auger works but I guess the cubes were frozen togeather and the Auger broke its plastic mounting on the ice enclosure. In the picture I do not see the hole where the engagement yoke fits thru.
