Answer Hello Fred, you are correct, 12656018 is the correct part and this is a simple repair. Just pay attention how you take the old one out and the new one will go back in the same way. A screwdriver should be all that is needed. Hope this helps!

Answer Mike, you'll need to remove the drawer, lid and glass shelf from the end caps. Once you have the glides and mounting screwws removed you can carefully move the end cap away from the wall. You'll need to disconnect the control bar from the control slide in the rear corner of the cabinet, then you can remove the end cap and remove the slide control knob. Good Luck
