How is the escutcheon plate #14 removed? Is it held in place by screws or tabs or some other method?
Tom for Model Number KSRJ25FXWH01
Answer Hello Tom. Some of these are held in place by one screw that goes straight up on the right and others snap in. If you look straight up and see no screw, look for a notch where a small screwdriver can be used to "unclip" it and the bottom of the panel will come out first. This is no easy task as it snaps in hard, so it snaps out hard also. You will think you're going to break it but don't worry, trained technicians think they are going to break it each time also! The top half "hooks" in. The bottom has to be removed first. I hope this was useful and have a great day!
