Answer Hello Scott. The fan is blowing in the correct direction. You may have a defrost issue or a sealed system issue with the unit.

Answer Hello Clarence, Whirlpool makes kitchenaid products. As far as the unit not staying cold enough, you will want to check to see if you have frost on the rear wall of the freezer compartment. If you do then you would want to do a continuity check on the defrost thermostat and defrost heater. If either part does not have continuity then you will need to replace that part. If both check ok then you will need to replace the ADC board.

Answer Hello Jeff. Yes, if the noise is coming from the fan motor, you will need to order and replace the fan motor 4389144 in the unit.

Answer Hello Adam. It is best to look for voltage coming to the fan motor from the unit. If the voltage is there, replace the fan motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Gary, Yes, there should be some concern. When the Evaporator Fan 4389144 finally stalls and doesn't run, you'll have a cooling issue, and could loose food product in both the freezer and the refrigerator. You should order and replace the part as soon as possible. Thanks
