Is the R in the model # for "R"ight hinged doors?
Answer Hello A.C.,
The "R" has nothing to do with door swing as far as we can tell. I'm sorry but this unit is so old we cannot even pull parts up on it anymore.
I have a Kenmore, Upright freezer, model # 1068275580. Can I modify/remount this fan/motor to operate as an evaporator fan, inside my freezer?
Answer Hello Ken. No, the part you need 1106739 has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
Hello my freezer is working fine however my fidge is not cooling at all. Is this what I will need? Thank you.
Answer TC, Possibly, A quick easy test, open the freezer door, can you hear the fan motor running, and /or feel the air from the fan being blown out towards you, if so, the fan motor is fine, as long as there's no frost or ice built up on the freezer back wall. You'll have to check the air diffuser 2157253 located in the back of the refrigerator compartment in the center of the ceiling. This allows the air to circulate into the refrigerator. If it is clogged with ice or broken, the refrigerator won't cool properly.
