MY air condioner would not start up today,,all it does is HUM. I tried spinning the fan,,but it would not spin,,,could the motor be froze up??. And can the motor be unfrozen ,,if I remove it from the unit??. Please let me know.

Answer Hello, yes you should be able to dismount the motor and try spraying something like "WD40" down the motor shaft to see if you can unlock it. If this works, it will be temporarily. You will at some point have to replace the motor 1187769. Thanks!
