Do you have directions for installing this filter? We don't remember the previous one having ends like the brass ones you included, or the small brass inserts. When would we need these items. Or, can we just push the hose in the proper ends without using anything?
The only way that you would need the nuts that are in the kit is if you have them on the old filter. If not and the hose just go in then you would want to push the grey ring and pull out on the tube. Once you pull out the tube then you would push the tube into the new one. Make sure that you install with the arrow facing the refrigerator
