There is water coming from the bottom of the dishwasher. I took of the bottom cover and the water is coming from the float tube. Why is it doing that?
Answer Hello Dan,
You should check the water inlet valve because the unit should not fill with enough water to reach the top of that tube. Otherwise, the tube could be cracked, allowing the water to leak out.
how do remove the overflow float from the basin tub?
Answer P, To remove the float, The float can be removed from inside the tub. 1. Tip the float slightly and gently toward the
back of the tub and lift up to disengage it from the overfill assembly body." Since you may have to service the overfill switch or the assembly : 1. Remove the toe and access panels from the bottom of the dishwasher. 2. Unsnap the cover over the overfill control switch.
3. Lift the overfill control switch from the assembly. 4. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the switch terminals. 1. Remove the float. 2. Remove the standpipe nut. 3. Push the overfill assembly through the bottom of the tub. 4. Open the cover and lift the overfill control switch from the assembly. 5.Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the switch terminals. Thanks and Good Luck
