How can I remove the float so that I can clean the gasket around it?
Answer Hello Enninme. You will need to remove the kick panel and unsnap the cover on the float assembly. Then make sure the end of the float is out of the way. Lift out of the inside of the tub assembly. Be sure to turn the power off before reaching into this area because 120Vac is on the switch.
I broke off the overflow protection float as I thought it was removable for cleaning. Can I just push a new one back in? Or do I have to disassemble the entire overflow protection sensor kit? Thanks!
Answer Hello Kathy,
You can replace the float assembly W10077871, but you will need to remove the kick panel and make sure it is activating the overflow switch properly and the end of the old one is out of the way. Be sure to turn the power off before reaching into this area because 120Vac is on the switch.
