Hi, I get water leaking from under the float retainer, it doesn't happen all the time is their a gasket or o ring needing to be replaced
Answer Randy, No there are no O rings or gaskets involved in the water level standpipe assembly W10316267. Most leaks from this area are due to a water level or " wave action" from the spray arm, or over sudsing. You want to check and make sure the dishwasher is level in both directions( front to back and side to side) make sure the water level is correct in the bottom of the tub, start the dishwasher and allow it to run a few minutes(3-5), unlatch and open the door, remove the lower rack, the water level in the bottom of the tub, should be within 1/4 inch of the bottom of the heater element(lowest) and may partially submerge the element(highest). If all's OK, check the detergent and rinse agent for possible separation or sudsing due to the chemicals.
I need detail directions with pictures if possible to install since no manual...I'm very visual if you can please assist..thank you
Answer Hello Jennifer. Sorry, but there is no pictures to provided. Here are the instructions. You may need to order a new float & retainer assembly AP3039159. Remove power to the dishwasher. You will need to remove the kickplate and lower access panel. You will find the switch assembly hanging by the wires, you will need to install the new assembly to the tub using the retainer nut. Insert the float into the guide and install the nut onto the float shaft. Attach the wiring.
