My fly wheel won't stay on after I tighten it. The dryer runs for ten seconds and then shuts down. The fly wheel will be loose on the motor shaft. Can you help me?

Answer Hello Joe. This is actually a fairly common problem. Assuming your threads on the nut that secures the flywheel and the post it rides on are undamaged, all you should need to do is put a little Loctite on the threads and this should help lock that nut onto the shaft preventing future slippage. I hope this info helps!
There is no flywheel on my dryer, is it needed?

Answer Hello, We will need the model number to verify if your unit has a fly wheel. Thanks!
