I am trying to replace the front bellow tube seal on my Whirlpool washer. I have the part, but the video is on a different model washer. So far, I need some one to tell me how to remove the control panel.

Latest Questions

I have a Kenmore HE3 washer (Model 11042822201) and need a replacement door boot seal (original part number 8182119) but can't find the part by either searching the parts for my model or by using the compatibility tool for similar parts for other washers. Can you direct me to the correct part? Also, should I replace the two clamps used to secure the boot or just use the ones that are already there (which are about 10 years old)? Thanks, Mike

I paid very close attention to the video which I am finding quite helpful. I've hit a snag during the part where the demonstrator presses two release valves for the top console section to come off. This differs from my model in that there is no single top console - detergent bay to left (already off), washer door section includes the controls and extends to the top of the washer, LED display and finer laundry controls to right. Does this LED part need to come off for me to continue with the bellow replacement? And if it does, how? Thank you, Neil

The front bellow tub seal of my front loading Whirlpool washer is split by design. We have been having a problem with black mildew building up inside the split on the bottom portion of the seal causing a bad odor and our clothes and towels having an annoying mildew smell. Do new, redesigned front-bellows exist (solid with no splits), since I know you've had many complaints about this?
