Un-plug the unit and remove the drip tray. Squat down facing the freezer door. With your knee against the bottom of the door so it can't open, grasp the bottom of the dispense cover and pull down and out at the same time. It will pop off in your hand. It is not recommended to try to pry each "tab" off because the enamel on the door will become chipped and this will cause a rust issue.The trick is to "yank" it off the front of the door. This pops it off easier and no damage will be incurred to the machine.
