My dryer just quit heating up.
Answer Hello Doll. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
No heat from the Gas Dryer. I have the front off and don't see an coil element heating. Perhaps the white vent fuse is blown. Thoughts?
Answer Hello Donald. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter and make sure it is getting hot enough to light the gas. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
if the timer whont move but stil heat then what.
Answer Manuel, If the dryer runs and heats, but the timer does not advance, it's most likely a fault in the dryness control board 33002389 or timer, itself 33001932.Check the wires between the timer and board, and replace the board , fi alls OK. Thanks
