Kevin for Model Number kgrs807sss
Answer Hello Kevin. To test the valve, 1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Turn off gas supply to range.
3. Remove the storage drawer. NOTE: You
can access the gas distribution valve from
inside the drawer area.
4. Disconnect the wires from the gas distribution
valve terminals.
5. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
6. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
indicated gas distribution valve terminals.
The meter should indicate as follows:
Terminal 1 (red) to terminal 2 (orange)
= 216 O ±30.
Terminal 2 (orange) to terminal 3 (blue)
= 216 O ±30.
You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
were is the gas orifice
Brhoades
Answer Brhoades, Based on the diagram you supplied, the gas orifice, is the brass colored fitting on the tube, beside the black colored terminal block. That orifice, is used for the "Bake" burner. If your unit has a "Waist High" or upper broil burner, the orifice is located in the oven, inside the broil burner shutter assembly, you'd need to remove the burner to access it. Good Luck and Thank
