Hello, I have ascertained that my two replacement gaskets are the correct part numbers for my built in KitchenAid side by side. However, the gaskets are not sealing the freezer to the point that I get a full blown snow after leaving it for a few days. I feel sure that the compressor will not put up with that for long. I had the replacement done by A-1 appliance repair in Calabash, NC. and they have refused to replace them. I noticed that the new gasket has a very weak magnet compared to the one on the ref. box side. This is our beach house which we leave for weeks at a time (do not rent it) and the service man said it would improve over time. He also suggested that I prop a chair against the door upon leaving the house so it would "train it to seal" or settle in or something. I hate to loose this box since it is a built in and the replacement is about 8K. Help with some magic solution please. Could it be the door could be adjusted? They did not remove the doors in putting on the new gaskets as your video shows. They also used screws on it to secure it instead of tucking as your video shows.
