Part# AP3092349 is this # a whirpool part# ? I've been trying to locate the right refrig door gasket for my model which whirpool says is 2188444A but it is to big.

Answer Hello Barbra. To replace the door gasket 2188444A, you will remove the door from the refrigerator and place the door on a soft surface. the remove the screws around the old gasket and remove the gasket. Start installing the new gasket at the corners and work your way down the sides. Reinstall the door once the gasket is installed. You may need to use a hair dryer to form the gasket to the frame. Be careful not the melt the gasket with the hair dryer. Hope this helps.
