The gasketing around the right door has torn. Part is still attached to the door, but the 'compression' section has torn away in section and doesn't seal well anymore. I want to replace it. The P/N originally (per our diagrams) was 2188433A and the repair part is AP3092338. How do I remove the old gasket completely? Then how do I install the new one? Are there screws or "push-in" fasteners that hold it? Te old one seems pretty tightly (?glued?) fastened to the door itself. Are there any illustrated instructions on removing/installing steps? I've repaired many things in my 74 years, but I've not yet tried an old door gasket like this! I don't want to butcher up the old one in a way that may compromise the seal effectiveness of the new one! Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer Jim, Around the perimeter of the door under the door gasket on the inside part there are screws that hold a metal bracket in place. That metal bracket is what is holding the door seal. You will want to loosen the metal bracket to release the door seal and install new seal.
