Purchased gasket AP4001071 no magnet,installed properly. still not sealing. any suggestions?

Answer Hello DH. All gaskets have a magnet, but usually they are small and not very strong. It sounds like the gasket needs to be formed properly to seal properly on the unit. You may need to heat the gasket then close the door and hold alot of pressure on the door for about 15 minutes with the gasket 10359709Q heated up. This will form the gasket to seal better.
How does the gasket attach to the door? Does it use adhesive? If so, is that included with the part?
