My dishwasher door gasket just came off. Half of it is still in tact. Do I need to order a new one and if so, can I install it myself? Thank you.
Jake for Model Number DU943PWKQ0
Answer Hi Jake. When they get loose enough to fall out , chances are the gasket part # W10509257 has already been damaged enough not to hold by the large ribs. They are put in place with the ribbed side 1st - so it holds. Center the gasket as you go, adjust the door latch strike as needed. Thank You.

Hi. This door gasket is good for the top and 2 sides. How do I get the gasket that goes inside the door and seals the bottom? I do not see it listed under the inner door diagram. Is it available?
Dan for Model Number du900pcdb4
Answer Hello Dan! This model does not appear to have a bottom door gasket. If you are trying to get to a part at the lower part of the door you can open the door and remove the inner panel screws to remove the panel, you will then have access to the entire door. The only part that is at the bottom on the inside is the retainer 3374716. Hope this information helps you. Thanks!

The water inlet valve sprays water and it leaks on the bottom right where the door gaps.
M
Answer Hello M. If the water inlet valve is leaking the water , you will need to replace the valve 8283346. If it is leaking out the door, you will want to check and make sure there is no suds inside the dishwasher due to to much soap use. This can cause the unit to leak. If the soap is good, then the door gasket W10509257 may need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
