Answer Hello Al. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the clutch assembly 8299642 is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced. Also, make sure the drive block on the unit is not stripped out and the drive tube is good on the unit.

Answer Jimbo, I would check the spin tube 285792 and transmission agitator input shaft for excess wear and tear, first. They are more likely to make noise, than the spin gear. Good Luck and Thanks
