My Repair & Advice
Took everything apart and found a bad spin gear in the gearcase, thanks to your instructional videos! Bought the replacement part, some cheap gear oil and permatex sealant from autozone, and had it fixed for under $100. It was not the easiest repair ever, due to having to clean the nasty gear oil with bits of plastic all throughout it from the bad spin gear. What took the longest was trying to find a part I dropped in my very unclean garage, that holds the gear in. But this fix was so much cheaper than buying another washer, and I learned a lot about direct drive washer transmissions, so I would do it again in a second. It probably could be done in less than 1 hour if you have everything you need ahead of time.
