Answer David, First, You want to turn the power to the cooktop off. Then you'll need to raise the complete cooktop out of the countertop. You can use some wrags and a couple of 1X2 slats to support the cooktop over the opening. Then remove the control knobs, and the perimeter screws that hold the glass top and support frame to the burner box. replace the cooktop and reverse the procedure. Thanks
