I received the above part and it did not come with the adhesive that was on the original frame where the old glass was adhered to. There is no part number for that adhesive abd I am sure because it was so sticky you cannot get this at a local hardware. Can I purchase that from you?
Linda for Model Number Part#AP2929310
Answer Linda, There is no adhesive, that is used on the "production line" when the product is constructed ans packaged. When the glass panel is repalced, it is held in place by the door handle and the two retainers on the bottom of the door. You can use a product like "goo gone" lighter fluid or "WD 40" to remove the adhesive from the panel. You could also purcase some two sided foam tape or pads from a local hardware store or home improvement center, if that would make you feel more comfortable. Thanks and Good Luck
Does this come with the adhesive backing on it? The door is fine, but old glass is hard to come off because of adhesive. Tips on getting old glass and adhesive off?

Answer Linda, Here are the instructions from the service manual," Disconnect the electrical power to the microwave/oven combination. Remove the screws (1 each) from the two clips at the bottom of the door and remove the clips. Open the oven door and remove the two
screws from the inside of the door panel, then remove the front door glass and handle from the door, and carefully close the oven door.Remove the four screws from the handle support bracket, and remove the handle and bracket from the front door glass." Thanks and Good Luck
