OK...I got a wrong part. I am trying to get the outer door frame a smoked glass for my microwave. If you look at the microwave closed, you pull down on the handle. In back of the handle is a stainless steel door and behind it is smoke glass. Those are held on by two screws which screw in from the microwave door. I go to the microwave door parts list and look at the schematic. It says I need #7 part. The diagram does not show the stainless steel door number or picture. I scroll down to Part description for number 7. The first #7 describes outer door glass (black) - Color:Black. Other colors: For white use AP3031042, for biscuit use AP3031043, for stainless steel use AP3126304. If you click on the first application for white AP3031042 and look at the picture, it shows a white glass (and no other views), if you click on the second application for biscuit use AP3031043 it does not shoe any particular glass. If you click on the third application for stainless steel (which I have a stainless steel, AP3126304, you see a picture that looks like the front of the door (as if it were closed and looking at it in yoiur kitchen). Under that it shows different views available and it looks like one picture is the door and one picture is the glass (which I am lookin for). But also note that now on this page it shows a different part # which says AP5183451. I need to know what number(s) I need to order so I can get the right parts and return the part ordered incorrectly. Thank You

I received the above part and it did not come with the adhesive that was on the original frame where the old glass was adhered to. There is no part number for that adhesive abd I am sure because it was so sticky you cannot get this at a local hardware. Can I purchase that from you?

Answer Linda, There is no adhesive, that is used on the "production line" when the product is constructed ans packaged. When the glass panel is repalced, it is held in place by the door handle and the two retainers on the bottom of the door. You can use a product like "goo gone" lighter fluid or "WD 40" to remove the adhesive from the panel. You could also purcase some two sided foam tape or pads from a local hardware store or home improvement center, if that would make you feel more comfortable. Thanks and Good Luck

Does this come with the adhesive backing on it? The door is fine, but old glass is hard to come off because of adhesive. Tips on getting old glass and adhesive off?

Answer Linda, Here are the instructions from the service manual," Disconnect the electrical power to the microwave/oven combination. Remove the screws (1 each) from the two clips at the bottom of the door and remove the clips. Open the oven door and remove the two screws from the inside of the door panel, then remove the front door glass and handle from the door, and carefully close the oven door.Remove the four screws from the handle support bracket, and remove the handle and bracket from the front door glass."
