I'm replacing the burner knobs, is the grommet a part that I need? I dont see it in the diagram? Do these knobs come in metal (not stainless look finish w/plastic material)?

Answer Hello Carm. The grommet 74005934 goes under the knob to help protect the cooktop from getting scratched. You will only need to replace this item if it is no longer on your unit now or defective. The knobs offered for your appliance are the original knobs, part number 74010205. We do not have any metal knobs available, they would be too hot to touch being on the cooktop. Thanks!
