Ice maker not functioning. Changed water inlet and ice maker. Is there some type of fuse to power these?

The motor will run sometimes when I jumper it and sometimes it will run to the fill cycle and stop letting the ice tray overfill it seems to have power sometimes. I have replaced the icemaker with a new one and the problem continues. Could it be the power cord is not giving the unit power all of the time?

I had previously asked a question about the icemaker not filling all cylinders each cycle and being very sporatic as to how many cylinders were filled each cycle. You recommended replacing the icemaker. Would replacing the icemaker control work or is necessary to replace the entire icemaker?

The ice maker will fill all 8 cylinders when I manually jump it to run its cycle. Then on all cycles thereafter, it may fill 1, 2, 3 or all cylinders. It's very sporatic with mostly getting 1 or 2 cylinders. If I manually jump it to fill the cylinders, I may get all 8 filled the next time or two, then it starts back to 1 or 2 cylinder fills. I have changes the inlet valve and the thermostat. What do I need to do or replace?
