Does it go into the hole?
Answer Hello Woody. 1.
Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
Remove evaporator cover.
Remove drain pan.
On plastic liner design, remove nylon drain insert and discard.
Defrost the drain and clear any ice from liner bottom and drain hole.
Check and remove any foreign objects from drain hole.
Re-install drain pan.
On plastic liner design, place drain insert into drain hole flush
Place heat probe from kit over the heater so that the probe extends
down into the drain.
Screw clip so that good contact is made with the heater surface.
Replace evaporator cover.
Remove unit cover (forced air models only).
Seal drain to metal cabinet using permagum.
Replace unit cover, if present.
Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.
Hi, will this work on Whirlpool ET20TKXDW01? Thanks, Tom
Answer Tom, If your unit has a heater that is 3" or less from the drain hole the heat probe will work on your appliance. Thanks.
