Answer Hello Karen. No, you need to repair the heater 8182448 in the unit. You will need to remove the back panel to access the heater. Then remove the wires from it and unscrew the bolt in the center of the heater assembly. Now you can pull out on the heater and remove it from the tub assembly. Reinstall with the new heater in reverse order. Hope this helps.
